To Do, or Not To Do?
很多时候, 我们会突然有一个冲动, 想做一件自己从来没想过自己会去做的事情...
很多时候, 我们会突然之间觉得自己不该想那么多, 不管三七二十一的去做一件事情...
很多时候, 因为我们的冲动, 而做了一些让自己骄傲的事情...
其实...很多时候我们在做一件事情之前, 真的是会想太多... 会想, "做了, 别人会怎么想?", "做了, 自己是不是会有麻烦?", "做了, 会不会后悔?"
我们人生中, 总有一些时候, 会有自己很想做的事情, 却不敢做, 而导致了之后的愧疚...但会安慰自己说, "没事的, 说不定做了会更惨..."
想做的, 就该勇往直前.
想完成的, 就该大胆的尝试.
没尝试, 是不会知道后果的.
没尝试, 是不会学习的.
没尝试, 就很有可能永远的错过了那尝试的机会.
我们一天一天的成熟, 但也一天一天的承担不同的责任.
在自己还能疯狂的时候, 在自己还有自己的时间的时候, 我们的确, 应该, 去做我们想做的事情.
这, 才是生活.
这, 才是人生.
这, 才可以跟别人说, 我很充实的过了我的人生.

VA Tech Shootout
On April 16th 2007, in Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, which is located in Virginia State, U.S, a Korean student named Cho Seung Hui, who is a green card holder, started a shooting spree in the University itself....killing 32 students and faculties, then pointed the gun at himself and ended his own life.
The immediate response from parents are to point the blaming fingers at Seung Hui and the University. But, who is the one really in fault?
The law states that any US citizen who does not have a past criminal record, and is above 21 can purchase firearms LEGALLY. Come on, think about it, what kind of law is that?
As reported by MSNBC.com, Senator John McCain says that his view towards gun control will not change even after this shooting incidents, and state that "but it doesn’t change my views on the Second Amendment, except to make sure that these kinds of weapons don’t fall into the hands of bad people", bad people? if we have a machine that can foresee who the bad people is, then maybe this will work. Can anyone predict Seung Hui as a "bad people"? Can anyone predict any perpetrator of the previous shootings as the bad people?
The Second Amendment of the US Constitution says "A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." No offense, but this is being set a long long time ago, where guns are not mass produced, and only the rich ones can afford. Seung Hui bought the gun in a legal licensed shop, through legal ways, using a credit card. Do u think this is wat u call, a safe society? A society where security is ensured? No, this is a society opened to mass massacre, to degrading the value of human life.
How bout Seung Hui? Why do you think he acted like this? Coz he is a bad guy? No...ignorance is the reason. I believe racism is still active in the society of the US, and Seung Hui might be as well a victim of such action. Living in a foreign society is hard enough, but living in a foreign society where the locals treat you differently would be devastating... He had been seen as having problems mentally and emotionally, why didnt people go for his help? because no one cared enough to do so, because its a life where we only look at ourselves, because of the human nature of selfishness, and because of the ignorance towards the reality around us...
Flaws in the society sometimes do show itself in brutal ways, for example, this shooting. However, it is the government and the people's responsibility to act to it, to change the flaw, to rethink the whole situation, and to realize the root of the problems, before pointing those fingers, at each other, at those unrelated parties.
Innocents had been sacrificed. The only hope is that this hard-learned lesson, will actually be learned.

Stumble! by Mozilla Firefox
We all use Mozilla Firefox in class everyday...yet we never realize the hidden fun in firefox at all...
There are multiple plug ins provided by firefox, which is created by fellow programmers around the world who are kind enough to give it out for free, and here is one, which is called "Stumble"
So what does it do?

see that Stumble! button over there? Once u install the plug-in, u would have that toolbar in ur browser...the first time u use it, they will ask for ur areas of interest (to those who loves porn, too bad, that is not included in the catagories ^_^), and everytime u click the Stumble! button, it will lead you to a site that relates to the areas of interest you selected, cool eh?? ^_^ best tool to use when u r lost online and have no idea wat to surf on
so lemme intro u guys one site that i found extremely nice...

its called Pandora, which is a site where u key in an artist that you like, and similar styles artist will pop up and u can listen to their songs online right there...i've tried with James Morrisson, and sure enough, artists like Without Gravity, Josh Rouse, etc, pops into the menu, and their songs are indeed similar....

人生
刚刚和我的室友谈完天...发现到...我们的生活, 虽然都有个固定的节奏, 固定的活动, 可是...总是有那一天, 一件事情...会改变你的一生, 你的将来...
他因为一宗交通意外, 而丧失了他的将来...意外发生后, 医生断定他只有百分之十的生存机率, 就算是活了下来, 也有百分之九十的机率会是植物人. 但, 他活了下来, 活生生的跟我说话, 跟我说当天的事故, 跟我说他的恐惧和失落...
很多时候我们会为一些很小的事情而烦恼, 而愤怒. 但...听到了他的遭遇, 听到了他现在的心情...我觉得...我们都失去了那愤怒和烦恼的权力了...我们应该好好的开始在想, 那些小事情, 值得我们去烦恼吗? 值得我们, 牺牲时间, 牺牲我们的心情, 去堕落, 去糟蹋自己吗? 在我们没看到的角落, 有很多人在为了生存下去而挣扎...我们是不是应该好好珍惜我们现在已经掌握着的好生活呢?
开开心心的过我们的生活, 凡是的障碍, 挥挥手, 把它给忘掉, 把它给去掉, 不就很好吗? 对自己身边已存在的东西感到满足, 不就足够吗? 当然, 并不是说因为这样, 我们就不发愤图强...有些东西, 要得到, 还是要努力的...但...身边的东西, 身边的小世界...我们应该永远, 永远的珍惜...因为那世界, 是我们掌握的...是我们存在的世界...
说来容易做来难...我们当然有时侯还是会去烦...只是, 希望以后在烦的时候...可以以一个乐观的态度, 去看看我们周围, 然后笑笑的说, "其实我的世界很美满"

Fish & Chips
Somehow, a crave for fish, and something fried, was in me today, thus...the best solution to get both, is fish n chips!!
While my housemate ordered pizza, i used the effort to actually walk two blocks away, in a cold cold weather, to Syndal Fish & Chips shop to da bao one for myself...and the effort is worthwhile:
as u can see...my fish & chips consist of a piece of nicely fried, crunchy dory fish, two calamari rings (the two circle-ish thinggy),two dim sims (the two fried-pear alike thinggy), and of coz...chips!!!! all...at just 9.50AUD...not bad compared to other food they sell here...
you suckers drooling yet?? mwahahahahahahhaa

The Start of Easter Break
It is 2:15pm now...and i have just finished my last boring lecture before the Easter Break, thus, EASTER BREAK HAS NOW OFFICIALLY STARTED FOR ME!!

Been quite awake tonight...and out of boredom, the idea of posting pics of the place i sleep, eat and *ahem* came through my mind...thus...here i am with this new post...
